_Client 2: Kelly
Kelly is a store manager at a major department store. She is in her early 30’s. She is also married and the mother of four children. She is still carrying that last 30 pounds of baby weight though she hasn’t been pregnant in almost a year. Kelly is tired most days and her morning cup of coffee just doesn’t give her the boost of energy it once did. She also can’t seem to find time for herself and sometimes feels overwhelmed. Her life right now feels chaotic. She admits to only engaging in fitness activities sporadically. She has signed up for aerobic classes but misses most of them. She also tends to catch meals on the run while she is on her way to kids recitals or games.
She’d like some order to her life and to feel better about herself. Kelly isn’t sure if her low energy is caused by her gluten allergy and poor diet, or the extra 30 pounds she is carrying. She would also like to learn how to make healthy meals that are gluten-free that even her husband and kids would enjoy.
